उद्यमेनहि सिध्यांति कार्याणिन मनॊरथैः ।
नहि सुप्तस्य सिम्हस्य मुखं प्रविशंति जंतवः ॥

ನಹಿ ಸುಪ್ತಸ್ಯ ಸಿಂಹಸ್ಯ ಮುಖಂ ಪ್ರವಿಶಂತಿ ಜಂತವಹ :
